Born in Germany.

1970-1973
Apprenticeship to German potter, Isolde Rest, in Toronto, Canada.

1974
Working for one year as full-time production thrower at Shanagarry Pottery,
County Cork, Ireland.

1975
Set up own workshop in Toronto, Canada, producing high-fired domestic stoneware and porcelain.

1978
Travels in China, South Korea and Japan; ceramics tour with The Nova Scotia College of Arts and Design.

1981
Travels in central Italy, researching local pottery and studying Italian earthenware techniques as part of the University of Georgia's Fine Arts Studies Abroad Program.

1982-1984
Ongoing production work in Toronto, working in stoneware and maiolica earthenware, with occasional teaching engagements.

Contributing free-lance illustrator for Canadian Forum Magazine.
